This policy explains what personal information Fortune Real Estates ("we") collects through this website, why we collect it and how we look after it. We handle personal data in line with Uganda's Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019.
What we collect
- Details you give us in forms: your name, phone number, email address, preferred visit date and message.
- Account details if you sign in: your phone number and the plots you save, reserve or enquire about.
- Payment references for reservation deposits. Card and Mobile Money details are handled by our payment provider, not stored by us.
- Basic technical information such as your browser type and pages visited, used to keep the site secure and working.
How we use it
- To arrange site visits, answer enquiries and process reservations and payments.
- To contact you by phone, SMS, WhatsApp or email about your enquiry or purchase.
- To meet our legal, accounting and anti-fraud obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We only share it with service providers who help us run the business (such as payment and messaging providers), and with authorities where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for up to two years, and records of purchases for as long as the law requires.
